The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
Since Caliper events were introduced, some Caliper events have been mistakenly classified as events triggered by an application (where an agent is a software application), instead of end-user trigged events (where the agent is a person).
The Caliper event transformation logic has been updated to classify events as a person-triggered event if an event not only has user data but also request data. As a result of the change, you might see an influx in person-generated messages in Caliper format.
The change will be effective as of Monday, 12 October 2020.
