[ARCHIVED] Where is the flag that marks an assignment as excluded from the final grade?

I'm looking for the field that matches the "exclude from final grade" flag in the interface.

In the code it seems to be referenced to as `omit_from_final_grades`: https://github.com/instructure/canvas-lms/blob/585bbd47d167981a5d6c6f5c847ddd6dc2af251b/app/models/assignment.rb#L231

It doesn't appear to be present in assignment_dim, assignment_fact, or assignment_rule_dim. Is this field available in canvas data?

I think you're right that it's not there.

There is an entry in the assignment_rule_dim for it, but it just says "can_be_dropped" and there are other things that can_be_dropped as well. There is no must_be_dropped value there.

The final grade exclusion became part of Canvas with Canvas Production Release Notes (2016-08-06) , but I don't remember seeing any changes to Canvas Data since then that deal with that. I just went back and double checked all the revisions since August and there wasn't anything added that is even close to this.

Not everything is available through Canvas Data and not everything is available through the API. What I've had to do is create my own local tables that supplement the data from Canvas Data with data gathered through the API.
