API Endpoints for BigBlueButton

We use BigBlueButton for live conferences, and all instructors are asked to manually click the "sync attendees" button twice per week for each and every session. It goes without saying this is a terrible use of human time, and an incredible irritant in the year 2025 to require repetitive manual click-and-grunt effort.

Are there any API endpoints  for BigBlueButton in a Canvas course that could be used to write an automation, or any other means of automating this task? BigBlueButton itself has an API, but seems to lack this capability as I believe it is specific to the canvas integration.
