Can the External Apps page be hidden from the instructors

Can this page be hidden from the instructors? We hope the instructors will only use the Apps which are passed the Security/Accessibility review by the security committee in the university. 

Please shed some light on.

At first glance, you cannot hide the external apps feature itself without customizing your theme to disable the UI via .js override file, but you can whitelist the approved apps per this guide page: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12672-4214526787
