I ran into a new issue today, which I've never encountered when working my external tool for Canvas
When I have submission type -> external tool URL saved in the assignment settings and I open my external tool configuration again by Find -> click my tool on the list, I'm getting a LtiResourceLinkRequest as https://purl.imsglobal.org/spec/lti/claim/message_type instead of LtiDeepLinkingRequest. This has never happened before today. If i select another tool from the configurations list or open my tool when the URL from it is not saved in the assignment I get a proper LtiDeepLinkingRequest. This new behaviour is problematic, since I don't have the deep_link_return_url to submit a possible new URL for the submission type.
Could this be an actual canvas bug or intended behaviour?
