Extending Due Dates for ADA students - via API

We have a lot of ADA students that need to have extended due date for their assignment/discussion/quizzes.

Any practical solutions how to do it effectively - via the API?

Canvas does allow for differentiated assignments through the API. In the API, it's called Assignment Overrides. In particular, you would need to look at the Create an assignment override endpoint.

I haven't done anything with this because it's not worth my time. I usually only have a couple of accommodations that need given and they are never for extended dates (my assignments are usually open a few days after they are due anyway). I do have some that need extra time on quizzes, but that is a different API call and that only affects a couple of assignments since most are untimed.

Someone has likely automated this, but I don't know who. Maybe they'll chime in?
