Give different points to different answers.

Hi

I am currently using CANVAS for my course. I have a quiz with 43 questions. The questions only have two answer options 'a' and 'b'. I need to give 1 point to 'a' and '-1' to 'b'. The results I will show students are for example, Q1+Q4+...+Q34. Because CANVAS cannot give different points to different answers, the only way to do it is using the mark tool and calculate the results manually. But students need to see their results immediately after they submit the quiz. So I am thinking to program for this purpose.

The function I need is very simple: calculate the results like I wish and show the results to students on CANVAS. But I don't know do I develop a webpage by using HTML or I need to develop a LTI?
