How do you setup canvas-lms in RubyMine for running/debugging?

I haven't been able to get canvas-lms into RubyMine to where I can run it and debug it. I was able to run it from the terminal but I would like to be able to step through the files. In RubyMine, I have had problems with Ruby versions, SDKs, and the bundler, amongst other things. I feel like there is an easy step-by-step process that I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
