I am not sure, but I think Canvas matches on URLs for LTI links returned in deep linking responses. So unless your LTI tool is registered as using https://dev.lti-compliant-lxp.training.aws.dev/lab1 it won't know which tool should be launched.
I think you can use the domain field of your LTI configuration to say that any link for a specific domain should be handled by your tool as outlined here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Developers-Group/What-is-the-purpose-of-the-domain-field-i...
