Currently, the grading rubric feature uses clicking for point scoring and manual comment typing or cutting and pasting comments. Alternatively, you can use a feature called free form comments and save comments for later use on another student but have to manually input points and grading rubric gets truncated.
See suggestions below on how to improve features in grading rubrics.
How to make Canvas grading more efficient? For example, currently grading rubric allows for clicking on points but individual comments for each category needs to be inputted manually. Alternatively, you can set the grading rubric to free form (save comments to be used later) but this truncates the grading rubric and have to type in points. How do I create a grading rubric in Canvas that allows for both features?
Will these two features (clicking on point intervals and free form comments that allows saving of comments in each category for use on another student) be able to be used together in future iterations?
