We’ve started working on a few exciting updates based on your feedback and the ideas in the idea exchange:
- Filter by Tag on the People Page
You’ll soon be able to filter the course-level People page by Tag. This makes it easier to quickly identify and take action on specific groups of students. - Update due date information to say Tags instead of Groups
We want to keep the language we’re using for this feature consistent throughout Canvas. - “Select All” Checkbox in the People Table
We’re also adding a “Select All” option to the People page table to streamline bulk actions.
We're actively reviewing feedback and prioritizing additional improvements based on that. So please keep it coming—it’s what helps us improve the experience before a broader release and ensure it’s meeting your needs. Whether it's something that delighted you or a workflow that felt clunky, we want to hear about it.
Join Us for Office Hours – April 29th at 10am PT
We’ll be hosting a live office hour next week to connect, answer questions, and hear more about how Differentiation Tags are working for you. The session will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at 10am PT. We’ve already sent out calendar invites, but attendance is completely optional—and feel free to forward the invite to others at your institution who may want to join. We’ll also share a recording in the following weekly update for those unable to attend.
