- We focused on resolving enablement issues, including confusion around feature flags and settings needed to turn Tagging on at the account level.
- Investigated and are working to fix a bug preventing users in multiple sections from being Tagged.
- Began exploring improvements to bulk Tag management, including options for CSV import/export and a more efficient way to remove Tags.
- Continued work on People page enhancements like including a Tag filter, adding a “select all” checkbox, keyboard range selection, and exploring future improvements like adding a column for Tags.
- Discussed future integration opportunities for Tags in tools like New Analytics, Calendar events, Attendance, and Announcements.
- Accessibility improvements are ongoing, with attention to keyboard navigation, error message behavior, and translation accuracy.

Update on feature flag and account setting
We’re making a small update to the Differentiation Tags feature flag that will be in the deploy on May 7th. During early development, we used multiple feature flags to support parallel work on Tag creation and Assign To Tags. We’re now merging these flags to streamline enablement and simplify management. While our long-term goal is to have the feature fully controlled by the account setting—which can be locked and cascaded—there will still be a feature flag required during the Early Access Program (EAP) and Feature Preview phases. If you're looking in beta today, you’ll only see the account setting, but once we complete one final change, you’ll see the feature flag under the feature options list again.
