This is a slight update to the original enablement instructions we previously shared.
We've enabled a development flag on the instance(s) you identified in the onboarding survey. Admins will now see a feature flag, Differentiation Tags, at the account level, which is currently turned off and unlocked.
To enable Differentiation Tags in the account of your choice, follow these updated steps:
- Enable the Feature Flag
- Navigate to the Admin panel in the desired account
- Go to Settings > Feature Options
- Locate the Differentiation Tags feature flag
- Toggle the flag to On. It should be in an “unlocked” state, allowing you to enable it
- Note: This does need to be enabled in an account/sub-account for the account setting to show
- Enable the Account Setting
- While still in the Admin panel for the same account, go to Settings > Account Settings
- Scroll to find the Differentiation Tags account-level setting
- Check the box (or toggle the setting) to enable Differentiation Tags functionality
Additionally, if you’re testing in a beta account you will need to re-enable the account setting after the weekly beta refresh. The feature flags will not be affected by the weekly beta refresh.
We’re actively working to simplify this process and will keep this group informed as improvements are made.
