Focused discussion

Hi,

I have a question about how to create a Focused Discussion in the new Discussions redesign. Basically, a focused discussion is one where the reply depth is flat. Students can only reply to the main post and not to any of the replies. Is there a way to do this with the new Discussions? If so, how? I have faculty who use this setup in certain discussions and I am sure they would like to continue using this setup with the new discussions.

I assumed this was no longer an option, as the 'allow threaded replies' option is no longer available in the settings. I would be interested to know if there IS a way, however, as well.
