This document includes all Elevate Data Quality Releases in 2024. The release date indicates the date the features were available to customers.

New Features
We're excited to announce that ElevateCALPADS 9.0.0 is now available for California school districts, enabling CALPADS validations based on the 2024-25 school year standards.
The ElevateCALPADS Rule Library now implements all changes up until the CALPADS Error List version 16.4 (published on October 15th, 2024). Additional incremental updates will follow later, covering the subsequent Error List versions.
We hope this will enable timely data validation and submission for the ongoing Fall 1 and Fall 2 submission periods for California school districts!

New Features
We're excited to announce that a workaround has been implemented for EDQ's IODS data acquisition process that negates the issues caused by invalid daysEmployedSets resources.
The workaround allows successful data acquisition regardless of any outstanding invalid daysEmployedSets resources (which affected the majority of the districts). After the deployment of the workaround we are already seeing successful acquisition jobs, so today and tomorrow even those districts can expect ElevatePEIMS scorecards who have invalid daysEmployedSets resouces in their IODS.
Please note that the underlying data issues are still expected to be resolved by the districts in collaboration with the SIS vendors through the coming months. Our fundamental goal with the workaround is to help you meet the quickly approaching Fall Submission deadline, but the IODS data still needs to be cleaned up, so we plan to have the workaround to be in place temporarily, at least until the end of March 2025 (Class Roster Winter Submission deadline).
In the meantime we have also implemented additional PEIMS rules in ElevatePEIMS, with further rules arriving soon - you can find the list of currently available rules attached.
We hope these improvements will help you meet the Fall Submission requirements successfully!

New Features
ElevatePEIMS 6.0 with daily ElevatePEIMS scorecards is available for all Texas LEAs, with a constantly expanding set of PEIMS rules. Please note that for a seamless experience some data gaps might require your attention to fix on the LEA side - see the details below.

Currently we deliver daily Fall Submission scorecards.
Which rules are available?
You can find attached the list of the currently running rules. Our team is constantly working on delivering additional rules, with the next release expected on November 4th.
What data issues need to be addressed by the LEAs?
For several LEAs, following the TEA’s 2025.2.1 IODS and API version release we experience data acquisition issues due to missing/invalid resources in the IODS. The following resources need to be fixed by the LEAs to enable a successful acquisition:
- tx_staffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociationExtension > _ext > tx > daysEmployedSets
How to fix it: LEAs need to populate data for all daysEmployedSets collections. As per the API validations, daysEmployedSets collections must have at least 1 item.
Any additional potential IODS gaps will be communicated to the LEAs directly, to help you unlock the daily ElevatePEIMS scorecards as soon as possible.
How to set up the IODS-based ElevatePEIMS validations?
If you have not yet enabled the new IODS-based ElevatePEIMS integration, you will need to provide us the following:
- A read-only claim set for all IODS resources
- Specify a 2-hour nightly window during which data acquisition can run

New Features
We're thrilled to announce that an integration with the TEA’s new Ed-Fi based solution is arriving soon for Elevate Data Quality, enhancing ElevatePEIMS validations from the 2024-25 school year onwards.
Key Features:
Automated Acquisition through the Ed-Fi API
Gone are the days of manual XML file uploads! With EDQ’s integration with the Ed-Fi API, we will acquire your IODS data every night, to power ElevatePEIMS validations.
Daily ElevatePEIMS Scorecards
EDQ will now generate daily ElevatePEIMS Scorecards, providing a similar experience to the EDQ Rule Library. This significant improvement from the previous on-demand reports will ensure that you always have the most current data at your fingertips.
Upcoming ElevatePEIMS Rule Updates
We are also working on updating our ElevatePEIMS rules to the 2024-25 standards, rolled out in multiple phases, with the first release expected at the end of September. These updates will ensure that your validations are always in line with the official PEIMS rules and results.
How can you enable the new integration?
To enable the Ed-Fi based ElevatePEIMS solution, there are a few steps you'll need to take:
- Provide read-only credentials (share key + secret) with a claim set for all IODS resources. (If you also populate any unrelated data into the IODS, you can exclude those resources from the claim set.)
- Specify a 2-hour nightly window during which data acquisition can run.

Transition Away from XML Uploads
Please note, with these advancements, the PEIMS file loader supporting XML uploads will not be updated to the 2024-25 standards. As we transition to more efficient solutions, support for XML uploads will be discontinued.
