Summary
An improved process is now available for Texas customers to share TEA IODS credentials, which power ElevatePEIMS scorecards.
Notes:
- This feature is only available for Texas customers.
- Credentials provided in the application do not immediately trigger data acquisition or PEIMS scorecard generation. These processes begin only after configuration and scheduling by Instructure, which may take up to a few days.
Change Benefit
With this feature the process of sharing IODS credentials with Instructure will be a smoother experience.
Feature Workflow
Tools Menu
In the Tools menu [1], click the TEA IODS credentials option [2] to view a list of TEA IODS credentials.
Credentials List
The credentials list displays submitted entries and allows adding, editing, or deleting credentials.
Add TEA IODS Credentials
To add a new credential, enter the required fields: School Year [1], API URL [2], Key [3], and Secret [4]. Then, click the Save button [5].
