In this Videri release, districts can map any type of assessment score to a performance-level Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Additional updates and bug fixes are included.

Assessment Scores Configuration

Districts can map any type of assessment score to a performance-level Key Performance Indicator (KPI). This feature makes it easier for admins to analyze performance levels and scores in student assessments, particularly when aggregated across many schools and school years.

To access this feature, a Videri Administrator must enter the KPI administration area by selecting the Manage Organization link.

In the KPIs tab, select Assessment Scores.

Admins can then select assessment scores that have already been mapped, or can add mapping to create a new assessment score mapping to KPI performance levels.

Flexible configuration options include choosing assessment family, assessment, assessment reporting method, school year, and grade level. Once performance level bands are configured, scores are mapped to the new performance level bands. 

Any assessment score that has been mapped to a performance level is visible in any dashboard, perspective, or watchlist that uses performance levels.

Advanced configuration options include:

• Regex support for converting non-numeric assessment scores to numeric scores to expand support for Metric KPI features to all assessment scores.
• Support for aligning performance levels by school year (because goals change) and by grade level (because many state assessments and vendor products align score results by grade level).

Additional Updates

 

• New Percent Correct assessment score calculation for MasteryConnect assessments that uses the MaxRawScore and ScoreResult to determine percentage complete.
• Improved organization of items in Published to You and Published by You.
• Improvements to Library Synchronization Alert to inform Videri Administrators when new library items are available to synchronize.
• Fixed issue with donut charts with custom colors not saving.
• Fixed issue in Data Explorer with creation of grid charts.
• Fixed issue with Grade Rank Scale not saving configuration by school category.
