Due to changes on the Iowa Department of Education website, we are making some title changes and document moves in the Iowa standards. The publication currently titled Core Curriculum will be renamed Academic Standards. The publication currently titled Standards will be obsoleted, and the five active Arts documents within it will be moved into the newly titled Academic Standards publication.
How will this change impact the standards data?
We are making the following publication title change:
We are moving the following documents out of the existing Standards publication (GUID: ADB11C82-DEB2-11E7-ACB8-F125C6E382B1) and into the newly renamed Academic Standards publication (GUID: 70D9939A-69AD-11DD-8C11-2AFD9CFF4B22)
The Standards publication (GUID: ADB11C82-DEB2-11E7-ACB8-F125C6E382B1) will be obsoleted since it no longer contains any active standards documents.
How will this change impact alignments?
Any existing alignments between assets and standards will not change.
When is this change taking effect?
These changes will be effective on Monday, July 8, 2024.
What action must I take?
You may want to update your version of the standards to reflect this change.
