Document Moves and Course Changes in Texas Career and Technical Education
Texas recently re-organized their Career and Technical Education clusters and courses. Previously, the CTE clusters were spread across Chapters 127 and 130, but TX now has all clusters and courses under Chapter 127. As a result, various documents and sections have been moved to match the authority site. Additionally, some courses have name or course code changes.
How will this change impact the standards data?
Our TX CTE Changes table contains all of the moves and changes for TX CTEs. The table contains the following kinds of changes:
- Documents moved from one publication to another
- Course title changes
- Course number changes
How will this change impact alignments?
Any existing alignments between assets and standards will not change.
When is this change taking effect?
These changes were made in August 2025.
What action must I take?
You may want to update your version of the standards to reflect this change.
