I am having an issue copying a course that I have copied numerous times in the past without any issues. I keep getting: "Something went wrong during copy course operation. Reload the page and try again.". Any idea on what is going on? This message was repeated numerous times on 3/18/25
The steps are the same steps that I always do:
Solved! Go to Solution.
Greetings @SharonDavis1 ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
If you haven't already, I recommend reaching out to Canvas support and letting them know, this sounds like an engineering issue. However, until then, have you considered exporting your course as a zip file to your computer? Then just create a whole new course from your dashboard, then click import existing content then select that zip file? You can also use canvas commons as well, however since you use free for teacher your course would be available to be imported by anyone else that uses free for teacher since you can only view and share public resources.
I hope this helps a little!
