Are you a student? Are you an instructor? Does your school have a paid Canvas account? Or, are you using the Free For Teachers version of Canvas? If you are using a paid Canvas environment, your Canvas URL would look similar to:
https://SchoolName.instructure.com where SchoolName is the name of your school.
Otherwise, the FFT version of Canvas would have a URL of:
https://canvas.instructure.com
If you are using a paid Canvas environment, you will need to speak with your school's Canvas administrator to see what the best option for you is. I know there is a way for a Canvas administrator to merge two accounts together, so that might be an option.
