Does the free version for teachers have the messaging ability?

Hello,  @wanatch  Welcome to the Canvas Community! The Canvas Inbox for sending messages is available in all Free For Teachers (FFT) accounts. If by "messaging" you mean Chat, that is also available for FFT, and if you would like it enabled for your courses, use the Report a Problem option in the Help menu of the course to make the request.
