A Windows mobile app (downloaded app) for PC users - analogous to iOS and android apps.

(1)

Many of us use our phones to access Canvas - hence the iOS and android mobile apps that we love. But what about most of us who use our laptops/PC's for the majority of our work? Yes, you can open a browser, but then you're dependent on your internet connection and the WiFi speed. Let's vote for a Windows 10 app - same exact thing as the iPhone and android apps - that you can download to your computer and always access. It'll have the interface we're used to but always available on demand.

Hi,  @kashata1 . Even the apps require an internet connection to access Canvas. Since that is the same on a PC and an app, were there any other benefits to using something other than a web browser to access Canvas when on a PC?

Honestly, just for consistency and accessibility. I use OneNote for taking notes and Power Planner to stay organized (both downloaded apps). It would be beneficial to have a third app – Canvas – open in my start bar along with that.

Hey, Austin. You should be able to create a taskbar icon for Canvas in Windows 10 as described in Add your favorite websites to the Windows 10 Taskbar - gHacks Tech News.
