[Assignments] Delete Comment Option

I, as a student, can get very overwhelmed at times. On occasions that I have broken down, I simultaneously  sent a comment to a teacher (on a finished assignment) that I wish I could have reworded better. With that said, I would like a button for students to delete comments that they have previously made. After searching everywhere online I was told that the only option to do so would be to ask the instructor to delete the comment personally but I would much rather avoid that.

I agree, there should be a way for students to delete and edit their own comments.

Comments from Instructure

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
