Attendance = Teachers set time periods for groups in "people" and an icon shows students' activity

If 1/3 of our students are face to face, 1/3 are every other day and 1/3 are full time remote.  Please show groups (classes) of students and their activity during a specified time set by the teacher. 

Example: My A3 Econ class has 23 students.  Today is an A day so 7 are face to face, 8 are remote and 8 are full time remote.  A3 is 10:30 to 11:15

If teachers could set the time for that group and see that groups activity with icons that match a quiz, assignment, discussion or anything to make taking attendance not such a time consuming tedious task, it would be much much appreciated!

New Analytics includes an Attendance tab, which updates according to criteria set at the account level. This change allows criteria to update attendance information for individual courses and remove manual attendance tracking.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
