Change message displayed to user when trying to add a Past course.

After a Term Ends, the course is removed from the Dashboard.  When a individual attempts to re-add it to their Dashboard, they receive the following message:

This really should be updated to reflect what is listed in the Support Document (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Troubleshooting/Viewing-Canvas-courses-in-the-Dashboard/ta-p/2610...) that reads:

"You can only favorite active courses. Courses listed in the Future and Past enrollments list cannot be favorited."

(There we go. Sorry for some technical difficulties regarding the RCE toolbar in the community.)

Ashley, this also applies for courses that you enrolled into when you click Join This Course (when self-registration is enabled for a course). It turns out that dropping a course that you self-enrolled into does not remove it completely; it instead moves it to the Past Courses section.

Here is how it should look like when a student is dropping a course:

Proposed Drop Course WarningProposed Drop Course Warning

If students change their mind and favorite that course again, another dialog box will appear:

To restore a course that you dropped from, you must rejoin the course. To restore a course that you dropped from, you must rejoin the course.

That being said, I want students to create a folder of past courses for archival purposes, provided that the teacher does not delete or reset the course.

Thanks once again for making us aware of this. Our teams are going to change this to read: "This course cannot be added to the courses menu unless the course is active."

This change to the UI will be effective with the Canvas Deploy Notes (2020-09-09).
