Check for duplicate hashes on submitted files in Assignments

Some courses/assignments require students to upload/submit files to Canvas that can appear remarkably similar (e.g., a screenshot of a task completed in a network administration course).  In such cases, it can be difficult to determine whether a student submitted his/her own work, or the work of another student.  Please consider adding a file hashing function on file uploads, with the ability to either "flag" in the grade book or generate a report of any assignments where the file hashes are identical.

I love this idea. I have a similar idea for when you have students download a document to fill out (like a word doc or a fillable pdf) that it checks the filesize of the original file they downloaded against the one they are trying to turn in. If they're the same filesize that would mean they are turning in the blank document, not the one they filled out.
