Draft Option

I am a student and have often experienced the horrid aftermath of typing up my assignment in the text box to later find my laptop has died or I have been logged out of Canvas and now I have lost everything I had written for the assignment. It would be awesome to have a draft or save option for the material(s) I have put in a lot of work for and ensure I will not lose it!

Hi, @suni2000 , you'll be happy to know that the ability to save a draft of your assignment submission is already developed functionality that will be available to you as soon as your school turns on Assignment Enhancements. I would also like to advocate for the ability for instructors to save drafts of course announcements! Has this been raised in a suggestion yet?
