Join Code Process


When a guest has to join a session via the join code an email is not required.  I would like to have this field added and make it required.  This will allow users to use the forgot password.  It also will help with notifications, etc.  A required email address SHOULD be part of this process.  --- Thank you.

Note - if the username is an email address, forgot password and notifications all work (the username becomes the email as well) - but this is not always followed and there is no way to enforce this.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
