Mastery Path Determined By Something Other Than Score

I would like to know if there are plans to create Mastery Paths based on "Student Choice" as the determining factor for their path NOT score.

Could you assign survey (ungraded) that gave the students a list of project choices. Their choice would determine their path. Is this possible.

Other creating weighted assignment groups, and assigning "root assignments" as worth 0% of a students grade, I see no way to make a root assessment not count toward their grade. Mastery Paths won't currently work with Ungraded Surveys or Practice Quizzes.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
