New Quizzes - Ungraded File Upload

In the New Quizzes when I create a question using the "File upload" option, the system gives a zero to the students for this question right away. This means before I grade students' answers. So, their grade goes down with this zero.

In the old version of quizzes we did not have this issue.

The same is true when using short answer or essay questions. The grade is automatically 0 until I've graded. I've gotten so many emails from freaked out students who thought they did well on the quiz.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
