Quiz versions

I'm an instructor, and would like the ability to create quiz versions. That way, instead of using question groups, I could come up with a set number of different possible versions of the quiz, and then each student will get a randomly selected version. This will help reduce repetition compared to complete randomization, and will help in those instances when certain questions might inform the answers to other questions, because you could keep them on separate versions.

Thanks for sharing this suggestion. Our teams are no longer developing new functionality on the code base for Old (Classic) Quizzes; please refer to the comment we posted to If/then logic for quiz questions for a fuller explanation.

New Quizzes incorporate a different design that does not utilize question groups to select and randomize questions, and it might turn out that once you've started using the features of New Quizzes in your live courses this versioning need will not prove necessary. If you find that it still does, we hope you'll re-write and re-submit the idea in the context of your experience with New Quizzes functionality.
