Calling all Impact Admins and Faculty: your insights matter!

At Instructure, we're committed to making teaching and learning more effective, intuitive, and supported. That’s why we’re launching a new research initiative in collaboration with the Instructure Research team and Impact R&D team—and we need your help.

What’s the Goal?
We’re studying how instructors engage with the embedded support and communication tools within Canvas—like in-app messages, walkthroughs, and just-in-time help—all powered by Impact.

These features are designed to guide and support instructors as they teach, but many may not realize where this support originates. That’s where you come in.

For Impact Admins: How You Can Support This Research
You play a critical role in delivering and customizing these tools. Now, we’re asking for your support in connecting this research opportunity to the instructors you serve.

Here’s what you can do:

• Forward our faculty survey invitation to your instructors.
• Use the pre-built campaign template in your Impact Campaign Library to promote participation directly in Canvas.
• Encourage participation before July 15th, 2025.

The survey only takes a few minutes and is designed for all instructors—whether they’ve used one in-app message or many.

For Faculty: Your Voice Can Shape the Future of Impact!
Have you ever received a timely tip in Canvas? Clicked through a helpful walkthrough? Accessed support while designing or teaching a course?

You’ve likely engaged with Impact—even if you didn’t know its name.
