Using Impact as an adoption tool for non-LMS systems

A long time ago I chatted with EesySoft about can I connect Eesysoft to other systems and use it as a common digital adoption platform.

We finally have the desire and use case to do this with some of our other educational technologies and keen to understand if/how I can connect Impact to these tools to improve adoption?

Apologies if this has been answered before but couldn't find a guide on how to connect a different system up to Impact.

Hi @DaveDennis! Currently, Impact can only be installed in specific learning applications, such as Canvas, Blackboard Learn Original & Ultra, and D2L. However, Impact can report on the usage of LTIs that are integrated into the learning applications. For questions regarding your specific use case, I recommend contacting support at support-impact@instructure.com.

Is there any intent for Instructure to broaden this beyond LMS systems or do I need to look at other products like WalkMe or Pendo.io?

Hi DaveDennis,

I was recently referred to a web application https://www.iorad.com/ to create interactive step-by-step tutorials. I dabbled with it and found it easy to use and the result was great. I have not tried or looked at WalkMe or Peno.io, but I will compare and see how things work. ~ WANDA

@DaveDennis Another idea to promote adoption is to do messaging or walk throughs of the tools you want to promote.
