In this Impact release, user group selection dropdown menu in the Tool Adoption report now reflects user group types. The Impact Dashboard has updated role labeling to reflect more descriptive and appropriate labels. Additionally, the Privacy Policy link is added to the Login page.

Tool Adoption Role Dropdown

In the Insights page, the type of user group is reflected in the Role dropdown, and a tooltip is presented for further explanation.

Role Labeling

In the Impact Dashboard, the word ‘Role’ is reflected in a more descriptive and appropriate label. Previous feature terms along with the updated terms are listed below:

• By role is changed to By user group

Manage Articles: Assigned to Category

In the Manage Articles page, the type of user group name is applied to the Assigned to category, and tooltips are presented for further explanation.

Manage Articles: Assigned to Filter

In the Manage Articles page, the Assigned to option in filters displays the type of user groups.

Insights: Any Role Filter

In the Insights page, the type of user group names are applied to the Any Role filter and tooltips are presented for further explanation.

Fixed Bugs

• User categories are applied to relevant roles for Canvas Instances at spin-up.
• CourseRole_Student and CourseRole_Instructor are no longer added to Canvas User Groups.
