Impact Release Notes (2024-10-29)
In this Impact release, new content is included for Canvas including Credentials Integration Phase 2. Other updates include accessibility improvements to Custom User Groups, Support Center, Walkthroughs, Support Articles, Messages, and Campaigns.

A series of Out of the Box campaigns and walkthroughs are provided by Impact to ensure seamless guidance to key functionalities of Credentials for students and instructors. Additionally, all page contexts inside Credentials LTI are linked to the Credentials Support Categories to ensure in-app contextualized support with 32 Instructor and Student categorized articles.

Accessibility
Custom User Groups
The following is an accessibility improvement to Custom User Groups:
- In Custom User Groups, the keyboard focus shifts to the updated content after activating the Add the First Condition button.
Support Center
The following is an accessibility improvement to the Support Center:
- In the Support Center design tab, the screen reader reads all Email Contact Form options.
Walkthroughs
The following are accessibility improvements to Walkthroughs:
- When selecting the Add Step button, the keyboard focus moves to the updated content
- In the Button section, the keyboard tab sequence is in sequential order
- In the Message Type section, the screen reader does not announce unnecessary roles and labels for expanded sections
Support Articles
The following is an accessibility improvement to Support Articles:
- When a user reaches the Support Articles Edit button, the screen reader reads the name and announces the context.
Messages
The following are accessibility improvements to Messages:
- Tooltips display on hover without disappearing
- The Add a Filter button and filter fields display visual labels
- When a user activates the options and checkboxes, the Leave us your feedback text appears on the textbox, and the content dynamically updates in the main section that is not conveyed to the screen reader users
Campaigns
The following are accessibility improvements to campaigns:
- When the Campaigns page has filters, the screen reader reads the delete buttons with the numbered filter it is deleting (e.g. Delete 1st filter)
- Content intended to be hidden from all users is not rendered by assistive technology
Fixed Bugs |
- The Inline Editor works as intended when placing messages.
- Sub-account admin should only be able to target users, roles, courses, sub-accounts, and terms for which they are associated.
- In the Tool Details page, once there is a change, the keyboard focus remains in the table.
