Assignment dates for a cross-listed course

This from a teacher:

When I go back into an Event to modify it (adding a link to that day's class notes) and then  when I save it the times disappear. (As in, they used to say 7:30-9:33 and now they save as 12:00am to 12:000am). If I go back in and change ONLY the times, It will change the times, but the minute I try to change something else it forgets the times. It happens in a cross listed course where the event was created for only one section. When I go back in to edit it, the times snap to 12:00am to 12:00 am.
