HI there, I'm part of a UK "credit recovery school". In the UK, we'd call it an "Alternative Provision" school. We use Canvas as our textbook and student exercise book and BigBlueButton as our online, live classroom as many of our youngsters can't access a mainstream classroom.
Our young people are the more "interesting" of the K12 population. Each one adorable, fantastic and full of potential ... but they remain "interesting"!
Where we are teaching in small groups in BBB, sometimes one of our students may become vocal in their "anglo saxon" language use over the microphone.
We'd like to find a sequence of clicks to isolate this young person, until they have recovered and then allow them microphone use again.
We've looked at locks in BBB and it seems either on for everyone or off for everyone.
Does anyone else use BBB in the K12 community and do you have any tips/ tricks on how to isolate just the one individual?
Kindest and warmest wishes to you all, from across the Pond.
Eileen
