Our sub-accounts keep reverting back to not using Canvas For Elementary

I have the feature for Canvas for Elementary turned on at our Elementary sub-account level but we are getting several reports this week from teachers that have their courses revert back to regular canvas courses. I went through yesterday and specifically enabled it in the narrower sub-accounts for individual schools (all 29, very tedious!) and that fixed the issue. But today one of the schools contacted me again and the checkbox was unchecked for their specific sub-account again. I can't figure out what's going on. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

@adm-bxbea2Admin, I ended up just turning it on at a higher level sub-account and that seems to have resolved the issue.

Honestly, I'm clutching at straws here but  have you got any automation working with Canvas and accounts? Any integrations with other systems that programmatically changes things?
