Canvas and Mastery are experiencing issues due to an ongoing AWS incident. Follow the status at AWS Health Dashboard and Instructure Status Page
This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 2/24/25.
If a user attempts to view a cross-trust student New Analytics data directly from the People’s tab in a course, it will redirect to New Analytics but present the error “This user has an inactive enrollment status or a deleted status. We cannot show data for this user in New Analytics.”
New Analytics should present the data
Navigate to New Analytics from the courses home page rather than from the People’s tab
Prerequisites: An active course with active students enrolled cross-trust and New Analytics enabled.
With users enrolled from the trust instance, navigate to the People tab of the course.
From here, select the Kabob to the right of a student, then select New Analytics.
Notice that the error is presented, even though the students have an active enrollment
