Description

After creating an announcement with the setting to allow comments unchecked, the setting is still being enabled upon creation of the announcement.

Make sure your course settings allow you to comment on announcements

This also appears to only occur when you attach available from/to dates to the announcement as well.

Expected Behavior
That the state of the checkbox for allowing comments to actually be retained correctly when creating a new announcement.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce

Create a new announcement in a course making sure to add available from/to dates and leave the checkbox “Allow Participants to Comment” unchecked

Edit your newly created announcement

Notice the checkbox for allowing participants to comment has become checked.
