This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 6/12/25.
The “Download Original” option offered by the Large file warning message in DocViewer is downloading an invalid file.
The “Download Original” option should download the file in its original format.

Upload the large file to the course files.

Select the file and when prompted choose the "Download Original" option.

Try to open with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and notice it states the file is corrupt.
