[OPEN] Course pacing is not properly updating due dates of imported assignments

Description

Course pacing is not properly updating due dates of imported assignments:

The old due dates get cached in the background while Course pacing shows what should be the correct date.

Expected Behavior

Course pacing should always fully overwrite the due dates of assignments.

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites: Have a current course and one past course.

  1. Navigate to the current course and import content from the past course.

  2. Make sure that the assignments are added to modules.

  3. Enable course pacing for the current course.

  4. Navigate to course pacing and create the pace.

  5. Observe that the due dates show in-between the course dates in course pacing.

  6. Navigate to one of the imported assignments and try editing it, observe that it does not work.

    1. Checking the API of the assignment the due date is cached as the date from the past course.
