Description
When loading a Discussion page for the first time and leaving a comment, the sorting preference isn’t applied to new comments made by the user. This results in the new comment being sorted to the bottom of the list, despite having “Newest First” as our sorting preference.
Expected Behavior
The sorting preference should apply to new comments when the page is first accessed.
Workaround
Pressing the filter by button twice to first change than restore our preference ensures that new comments are placed at the top of the order.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisite: A discussion with the sorting preference of “Newest First”.

Access the discussion,

Leave two replies of any length,

Refresh the page and leave a new reply

This last reply will not be sorted based on your sorting preference and instead be appended to the bottom of the list of replies.
