[OPEN] Impossible to zoom out on image submissions on Speedgrader- Pictures are not scaled to Preview

Description

  • When JPG or JPEG files are submitted, Speedgrader does not scale the document to fit the preview window.

Expected Behavior

  • Instead, it should scale the file to fit the preview window or allow for zooming out further. Getting quite a few reports from teachers unable to grade student submissions.

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a File Upload submission type assignment

  2. As a student, submit a JPG or JPEG file.

  3. As a teacher, view the file in Speedgrader Docviewer

  4. Notice that the file is not scaled to fit the preview window and it’s not possible to zoom out.
