[OPEN] New course paces show out of order when default pace exists and module position does not match order items were aded to module

Engineers are currently investigating the issue.
Description
When a course using Course Pacing has an existing default pace and a module where the module position of items does not match the order the items were added to the module, the due dates in that module will appear out of order when creating a new pacing plan for a section or individual student
Expected Behavior
-
Instead the order of the due dates should match the order in which the items appear in the modules when creating a new pacing plan.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisites: A course with a student enrolled, a start date in the future, a module, and three assignments which have not been added to the module.
-
Add the three assignments to the module
-
Reverse the order of the assignments in the module so that the first assignment added to the module is in the last position and the last assignment added to the module is in the first position
-
Create and publish a default pacing plan for the course assigning 1 day to each assignment
-
Open the pacing edit page for either the section or individual student and note that the due dates appear in reverse order to what is expected: the first assignment has the latest due date and the last assignment has the earliest due date.
