[OPEN] Some placements no longer closes when pressing the X

Engineers are currently investigating the issue.

Description

The Assignment Group Menu and Module Index Menu (Tray) placements launch a tray on the right of the screen which should be closable.

Expected Behavior

For the Launch Tray to be closable

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a dev key

  2. Set the below placements

    1. Assignment Group Menu

    2. Module Index Menu (Tray)

  3. Save the key

  4. Deploy the tool

  5. Go to a course

  6. Go to the assignments page and set up an assignment

    1. Click the 3 dot icon next on the group header reading “Assignments”

    2. Select the tool to launch it

    3. Click the x in the upper right corner of the tray

  7. Go to the Modules page

    1. Click the 3 dot icon at the top, just to the right of the blue +Module button

    2. Select the tool to launch it

    3. Click the x in the upper right corner of the tray

Result: Modal does not close

Expected result: Modal closes
