SpeedGrader: Due date not displaying for checkpoint discussions (shows “no due date”)

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 11/05/25.
Description
When viewing a discussion assignment with checkpoints enabled in SpeedGrader, the due date does not display. Instead, “no due date” is shown.
Expected Behavior
SpeedGrader should not show ‘no due date’, to stay consistent with behavior elsewhere in Canvas, we can show the second checkpoint which should have the later due date.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
-
Create a discussion assignment with checkpoints enabled.
-
Open SpeedGrader for that assignment.
