People page is case-sensitive when ordering sections

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 8/16/24.
Description
The ordering of sections on the People page is case-sensitive. It lists sections starting with a capital letter first, then lists lower case sections next.
Expected Behavior
On the people page, students enrolled in multiple sections should be displayed in alphabetical order.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisite: Have a course with at least one student enrollment.
-
As the teacher go to settings and create 2 sections, one starting with a capital letter, one with a lower case. For example: ‘Test section' and 'another section’
-
Navigate to the people page and add the student to both sections with the Edit sections option.
-
Refresh the page and observe that the capital letter section is listed after the lower case section.
