This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 5/7/25.
The keyboard shortcut “c” to jump directly to the Comments field in speedgrader is no longer working. "r" for rubric and "g" for grade are still working.
Users should be able to use the “c” keyboard shortcut to jump directly to the comments field in speedgrader.
No workaround exists at this time.
Prerequisites: Have a course with an assignment and students in it.
View the assignment in speedgrader.
Select “c” on the keyboard.
User is not brought to the comments field.
Select “g” on the keyboard.
User is brought to the grade field.
